Early morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco for the drive to the trailhead in the Apurimac Valley. We will drive as far as Soraypampa 3,864 meters / 12,677 feet.
From Soraypampa we can appreciate the impressive Soray mountain 5,450 meters / 17,880 feet. in front of us and from this place, we will begin with a hike up a gentle slope with fine views of the massifs. After about 2 hours, depending on the pace we will arrive to the turquoise lagoon of Humantay located at 4,264 meters/ 13,989 feet, in this place we can find the foothills of the Humantay mountain (5,473 m. / 17,956 feet).
We will have plenty of time in this beautiful place to enjoy the breathtaking scenery stretching across the colorful waters of the lake to the glacier that towers high above.
After touring the area and recording these unforgettable moments in the camera, we are returning to Soraypama and then continue to Cusco, arrival time approx. 5:00 pm

Mollepata – Soraypampa: dirt road: 22 kilometers / 13.6 miles. Total 4.5 -5 hours.
Trekking distance:
3.5 km. up, 3.5 km down; Total 7 kilometers / 4.615 miles
